The Apartments at 69 centres around the lives of 14 people living in an apartment building in Sydney suburb Kirribilli. Relationships, sex lives and personal struggles bring some residents together in friendship and love, and break others apart.

Mae Ashworth is a member of the NSW Writer’s Association and Australian Society of Authors. Mae has completed writing courses through Australian Writers’ Centre.

Mae is Australian.  A photographer, ex-veterinary nurse, and self-confessed serial dater. She lives with 4 cats and fish. Fascinated by human connection and capturing a little humour in all that life throws our way, she can be found in various cafes people watching and scribbling wildly notes in large notebooks around Sydney.

I’m an Australian author, photographer, and ex-veterinary nurse with a fascination for human connections and the quirks of everyday life. As a member of the NSW Writer’s Association and the Australian Society of Authors, I’ve honed my craft through various writing courses with the Australian Writers’ Centre.
